TSM 5.5 Server with a 6.1.2.X client and ODBC Drivers

Setup
TSM server 5.5.2. Running on W2k3 x64 Call it TSM1
TSM 6.1.2.X Client Running on Windows 2k8 R2 X64. (Call it Rpt1)

Rpt1 is a reporting server that have a couple of software installed on it. EX. excel 2007.

I want to install the TSM Odbc Drivers on RPT1 to have a centralize place for all my queries, repports and admin script.

1- Does the 6.1 Client have a ODBC Driver? (D/L the CD from past-port site at this moment)

2- Of not.. I cant find the ODBC Drivers TSM 5.5 for 64Bits. and I doubt they have one.

3- If not is there a way to wak TSM ODBC drivers works on a 2k8 R2 server. Did any one tried.

4- Or just go with a 2k3 x32 servers - Windows admin wont like me.. who cares..

5- or Should I continue smoking crack and have these kind of wierd question..

At this time only TSM ODBC 5.5.2.0 32it is available.

Would like a 64bit TSM ODBC.

Unlike the TSM Server, the TSM Client you don't need the base code.
There are no license files with the TSM B/A Client.

The system requirement should be the same as the TSM B/A Client.

Windows 2k8 R2 and Windows 7 are not supported until 1Q of 2010.
Of course that may change.

At this time just go with Windows 2k3 x32 or wait until 1Q 2010 when the support for Win2k8 R3 / Windows 7 are added. That is if they add the support in 1Q of 2010.
