TSM 5.2 server on Iseries (AS/400) using OS/PASE

Has anyone installed the TSM Server on an Iseries box (AS/400) with OS/PASE ?



If so, do you have any problems with it? I have a choice of installing the TSM server on

either Windows or AS/400. I would weclome any feedback. I will be attaching a 3583 robot.

Hi Elly,



I have recently installed TSM 5.2 on OS/400 PASE, with 3583 LTO2. This server is still in test but will be put in production within few days or week.



In the begining we had problem with the library connection, the library is shared between BRMS and TSM on same partition, after deleting and reconfiguring the library again in TSM, all went OK.



Occasionaly, the TSM server has stopped, but I have not investigated why, perhaps because some OS/400 admin works as this partition have been used for test purposes untill now.



I think this is nothing to worry about, it's more because my AS/400 skills are very low, and depends on help from AS/400 administrators.
