TMS server on Linux - Looks like we're heading in that direction.....

From all indications it looks like we're going to be migrating our TSM server from Z/OS to LINUX. I've asked our IBM rep's what kind of memory requirements we're going to need on the linux box and so far, no response. We've done numerous tests and it seems to be allocating about 52meg of memory for each client that accesses the server. Two 26MB tasks for each client. Is this correct? Is anyone familiar with this? Or know of any documentation available?

I think there is no golden rules to say how much memory is need for one client, nor IBM support will tell you a formula, since you may have different value for txngroupmax , txnbytelimit and maxsession etc.. and also lan client and san cliient is totally different.
