Hello,

i would like to install and saved an Oracle database for my future client, so i'll try to make a model in my virtual lab in order to see how it works.

I believe that IBM doesn't supply test binairies for this topic, so i would like to know if the package i download are the right ones:

5.5.2.0-TIV-TSMORA-LinuxX86.bin instead of the official TDP-Oracle.i386.bin

and

TIVsm-API-5.5.2-0 instead of the official TIVsm-API.i386.rpm

Env:
RHEL4.3
TSM v5.5

Thx for your help :)

I presume you have a 32-bit environment? If so, the former is correct.

No need for the API if you have the BA client installed if you installed it completely. If you don't have the API from the BA, use the former.

What about license? The packages you have listed does not have the license file.

Hi moon,

thx for your answers.

I don't remember that there is a licence file for the Oracle component when i read the manual, i'll study this, thx for your tips.
