The service 'TSM Client Schedular' does not exist?

Hello all,

I recently installed a TSM client (windows 5.5.0.6) and it’s not backing up. The dsmerror.log shows the message below. I checked and the scheduler service is there and
and I followed the usual install procedure anyone ever had this issue? I have tried to correct the issue but so far no luck.

Also, the dsmsched.log is blank, I assume due to this issue am I overlook something here?

f.y.i – I did the command dsmcutil update cad /name:”TSM Client Acceptor” /cadschedname:”TSM Client Scheduler” and restarted the scheduler 2x

Thanks for your quick response! yeah that's what I have been checking the "TSM Client Scheduler" Service is installed. I don't know why it's say's "Schedular"?

syntax error? try to reinstall the service (dsmcutil remove / dsmcutil install)

Thanks that worked! I removed the service >> dsmcutil remove then reinstalled Scheduler Service it's working correctly now and backup is scheduled.
