in the past 2 mounthes i had 3 taperrors (LTO1)
Now, because it isnt nice to get nearly all your copypool tapes back to rebuild the defekt tape, i had the idea to test the Scratchvolumes in the library for errors befor they get used again.
Well the idea sounds to good to be implemented in TSM 5.1.5 isnt it ?
Does anyone know wether and how to do something like that ?
Maybe an other idea how to check tapes ??
