tdpo backup very slow

Following are the problem with Tivoli Data Protection for Oracle.
The rman backup with TDP is taking longer time than usual. During the backup operation we have noticed the I/O on tape for 10-15 minutes then it stops for around 7 minutes and again I/O happens. So during whole backup operation I/O is happening in this way.
The following are some of issues we have observed:
We are able to take backup with One channel of rman but not with two channel as we are having two drives in the library.
For 100GB backup it took around 10 hours through single channel and this is not a normal behavior.
I have attached log of backup through rman with one channel as well as two channel.
Currently the size of the database is 100 GB and would be in terabytes in future.
For file system backup everything is normal.

Hi,

For two channel backup, check MAXNUMMP value for that client in TSM server. By default it's 1, so only one mount.

Backup warns ANS1315W (RC15) Unexpected retry request. The server found an error while writing the data.
Could be fixed changing MAXNUMMP value to 2.

Or there can be errors on tapes.
You should also run audit volume to those volumes that have been used for backup.
