TDP Oracle on Virtual Machine.

I still say it's a mismatch between what TDP thinks the TSM server has and what the TSM server has. (To me, this is what the error message is stating, though I don't get the "File space '*' does not exist" is coming from.) Query RMAN to see what it thinks is backed up (and therefore wants to delete) and see if this file is on the TSM server.

I am not in a TSM environment right now, so someone else will have to supply you with details.

Assuming that you have the right management class of directing the files to a tape, have you tried running the RMAN backup script and see if a tape mounts and do a backup?

Solved.

Guys,

I managed to solve my problem ....

RMAN> unregister database;
RMAN> register database;

Thank you very much for your help.
