TDP MSExchg refused – invalid password submitted

Hello,

I am a newbie on using TSM. We are using TSM 6.1 and I would like to backup our Exchange 2007 SP2 with TDP for Exchange. I always get the error message "Session xxxx for Node Mailserver (TDP MSExch) refused - invalid password submitted". If I use the TDP Exchange-Client GUI so I am able to accomplish the backup manually.
The problem is, that I can not change the password for the TDP Exchange-CLI, because I don't know the original password. Is there any possibility to force the reset of the old password direct from the TSM-Server? What can I do?

From the TSM server:

Update node "nodename" "yournewpassword"

So if you had a node named bill, and your new password is blue it would be:

update node bill blue

This update command works and I am able to login from the exchange CLI with the newpassword. But if I use only one time the tsm client on my mailserver and I would try to use the exchange CLI afterwards, then I always get the message "ANS1025E (RC137) Session rejected: Authentication failure". Why is this?
