Hello everyone
We need to do backup with tdp of 4 oracle10 databases, namely, two machines each with two databases, in case one machine fails, the other two databases are moved to another machine while the four databases in it.
The fact is that we have never ridden anything like
The idea is:
- the installation (paths, etc) exactly the same on both machines
- In all configuration files on the two machines to add the four instances
- Password files in a shared filesystem.
the idea is good or bad?
How do we know machine is the database to run the backup?
sorry for my language. thank you very much
