TDP for exchange

hi,

i never been used tdp exchange before its been a first time em used BAclient

i've installed TDP on exchange server and add the node in tsm

wot next how to configure TDP so that it can communicate with TSM server?

I would ask one thing more, how can I restore single mail box out of 100 mail boxes?

Configure the TDP according to the documentation. I'm not current on it and there is no substitute for doing it yourself and learning valuable lessons you would not learn by having it done for you. It's a bit outside the scope of this forum.

If you need to restore 1 mailbox, you need to restore the entire database to a recovery storage group, export it to a PST and recover manually from that PST. At least that's what we do. It's not as much work, or time, as it sounds like.

we use exmerge to get the single .pst files to restore single informations , like tasks , kalendar or mails. so far as i know tdp can only restore storage groups. so we use tdp only for the "big Bang"

Same for us, but apparently single mailbox restore will be supported in TSM6.1.
