TDP for Exchange

Hi guys,

Environment:

TSM5.4
TSM Server: AIX 5.3 ML4
Exchange Server: Windows 2k3 sp 1
TDP for Exchange: v5.3.3

Hope somebody can help with my problem. I'm setting up TDP for Exchange v5.3.3 for TSM 5.4. My problem is I'm getting an error "ACN5238E : Unable to retrieve the domain information for Microsoft Exchange Server." I did install the tdp client and the baclient while the exchange server is running. Also configure the dsm.opt for both exchange and client.

I believe your problem has something to do with access rights.

The way I have my TDP for Exchange scheduler service logged in is through a domain account that has Exchange server Admin rights.

Create one in AD and change the properties of the service on the Log On tab to reflect the Domain Exchange Account you have created. Make sure that you have a non-expiring password for this account.

yeah it's the id i'm using. i log in to the pc not thru the domain.
