tdp for exchange full db restore problem**mailbox empty**

Hello All,

My problem is;

1)Perform a full db backed up. (DBxx)
2) I deleted the mail belonging to this database ( mailbox name userxx. open userxx mailbox and than i deleted 3 mails the mailbox)
3)Restore full database DBXX
4)after restore db and than mount database DBxx. Database online everthink isOK
5) Open userxxx mailbox. but I can not see deleted e-mails.

All e-mails to disappear if it is empty database. But mailboxes is there . Mails didn't.
I could not understand why happen it? Please help me.

When you perform the restore, do you have replay logs selected?

You are right. I selected "Replay Restored and Current Logs" but ı select should "Replay Restored Logs Only".

I selected "Replay Restored Logs Only" option . Evertthing is OK.

As far as am concerned I think you should try this DBX Converter Tool which has it all in it as per the probable scenarios required in the direction to Import emails from outlook express to outlook and even in other file formats also like EML, MSG, RTF etc. If somehow the DBX file would be damaged it’ll repair the same as well too.
