TDP for Exchange Best Practice.

Hi all,

Does anyone have a set best practice/consideration when setting TDP for Exchange?
Btw on node we install TDP should we installed the BA Client?

Yes you should install the TSM client as well as the TDP...registering different node names for each.

For installation instructions and recommended configuration, take a look at the manual that comes with the software.

And what the function of the TSM Client...

You backup the normal files with the ba client, but you exclude the *.edb files and the other exchange files. These get backed up on-line with the tdp agent. As suggested use the manual, there is good redbooks from IBM on the matter, explaing how to set it all up.
