Today we wanted to restore a file from one of our client nodes called Server01 however when we opened up the “Backup-Archive GUI” application on Server01 and navigated to our folder destination to recover the file we do not see any sub folders under the Backup-Archive GUI application for our destination folder.
Client Node Server01 – Folder location E:\Data
Backup-Archive GUI (Version 5.3) – Viewing option “Display active /inactive files” enabled does not show any folders/files backed up.
I also took a look at our client node via the Tivoli Storage Manager – Web interface and its specifies the backup location as \\Server01\e$ or the E: drive which should include all folders including subfolder to be backed up; however the Data folder is not being backup, but the other folders on the E drive are being backup which is weird.
I’m not sure if this is a permissions issue or if we may need to reinstall the “Backup-Archive GUI” application on our Server01 server.
