SSL on admin port

How do you know if SSL has been enabled on the admin port. What is best practice in terms of client and admin ports and on enabling SSL on them? Thanks for the insight.

You can use this command to determine if it's enabled or not:

query option ssl*

From a TSM perspective, there are no best practices. To use or not use SSL is more a matter of security and security requirements very from one organization to the next.
