SP for VE - SQL DB backups

Hi

i am trying to find out if any of the newer versions of SP for VE can perform SQL backups of SQL servers in a cluster or AG.

I noticed in the older 7.1.x version of TSM for VE, that SQL servers on VMs can be backed up, but only if they are stand alone, ie no MS clustering or Availability groups are supported

The current environment is an ESX farm, TSM for VE is at 7.1.6 and the VM's in a MS cluster are excluded from VE backup.

I cant seem to find anything on the newer versions (8.x and up) where it states the restrictions on SQL server data protection in VMs
