I am having trouble with REAL slow restorals to Solaris machines. TSM 5.2.2.4 is running on a Windows2K box and the Solaris units are running UNIX client 5.2.2. My restores to Windows boxes are running fine but with UNIX they are running extremely slow. Does anyone have any ideas? I have checked the network and we can't find anything wrong there. Where should I start looking?

When I have experienced slow restores on Unix the majority of the time it was due to duplex issues. We force all our TSM work to 100 Full on 10/100 networks and if the network is gigabit then I would check the ulimit and other settings on the OS.
