SnapManager for Oracle - TSM backup recommendations

I'm in the process of backing up Oracle, but want to use SnapManager for Oracle for the primary recovery, and then the TSM hierarchy for longerterm retention. Do you setup TSM to pickup the snap? Mount it to another server and back it up as a flatfile? Or should you still use a TDP off the server running Oracle?
