Slow tdpo for sap with oracle

Hi all,

I installed TDPO SAP for ORACLE and configure with some problems.
Once everything was configured (solving problems like configuration of initSID.utl and so on) I got to get session with my TSM SERVER.

First of all, I have not yet any DRIVE, so I did a disk backup. Actually I created I devclass type FILE and its MGMCLASS and I created a VOLUM to it.

When I lauch brbackup it connect to TSM server but it stalled in the first file:

So, checking the trace I got infinite message like:

17:52:39.521 4000 (102) esd-socket.cpp:244 Socket 8 waiting for 1bytes, 0 bytes read so far; readLoopCount is: 2880


So I can guess it is not copying.
In the TSM SERVER, performing a "q session" after 1 hour, it shows 10,5M recived.........



Once and for all, its is not copying files.

What is wrong in it?

Solved: Tdp slow

Hi all,

It was a problem of network.
I tried to do a backup of files and it was really slow.
I suposse TDP uses something that decrease the performance if there are some network errors.

I realized 'cos I did some test with scp and it got STALLED sometimes but I could do it.
