    Hi!

I have a server that is a win 2008 r2 that has SQL server installed. From the backupclient I try to restore a inactive fil on 1.69 GB, the restore run at 8 KB/s, 1.69 GB will take long time. I have tried other win 2008 r2 server and restore a inactive file, the speed there is 120 KB/s

    TSM 5.5
    Client 5,5
Slow client use HP nic teaming

    where do I start trobleshoot?

    Hi

try increasing client tuning parameters ON BACLIENT machine for example TCPWINDOWSSIZE(1-2048KB), TCPBUFFSIZE (1 IS MIN - 512KB MAX), TXNBYTELIMIT (300KB - 32GB).

    Hi!

Im unable to set TCPWINDOWSSIZE 63 and TXNBYTELIMIT 25600K I have tried to set different values
    TCPWINDOWSSIZE 63
    TCPBUFFSIZE 512
    TXNBYTELIMIT 25600K

Could it have something to do with MS SQL taking/using 99 % of the memory?
