Side Effects of Deleting Admins

If an administrator is deleted from TSM, do the objects that they have created or updated cease to function?

I have been tasked with developing a list of all the items that have been created or updated by any administrator logon of other-than our "ADMIN" generic system administrator because of that worry.

I think they either retain the label of the admin that last modified them (even thought that admin no longer exists) or it reverts back to Admin.



Try it out.... Create a dummy admin. Have that dummy admin create something like a devclass. Delete that admin...and see what happens.

Yeah....I have made myself a new logon exactly for this purpose. We shall see.

You were correct. The name simply changed to ADMIN. I don't see any problem with funcion.
