I've seen a few threads with not a lot of answers. I'm looking for the method on how to get v7.1.6 TSM server defined to v8.1.6 SP server. I've tried straight define with TCPIP and I can ping from 8.1.6 to 7.1.6 but not vice versa. Server are on same subnet, so OS level ping works.
I even tried importing SSL certs and defining them with SSL connection and it doesn't ping in either direction.
So..how do I get bi-directional ping??
