Server Not In Compince With License

Hi ,



My TSM server is 4.3 version, where the server is showing noncomplince with the licence.



i tried to register the licence with register license file=/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/domino/bin/domclient.lic



then it given the out put like below.But the server is still noncomplince.

you do not have problem with Domino licences, but with Library Sharing licenses

is OK



Is Library Sharing in use: Yes

Is Library Sharing licensed: No



is NOT OK

How we can add the licence for that or how i can update the library to not share.



I tried to update the libary but it is asking for sharing is yes/no...



if i am not choosing the yes it says one or more parameter is missing.



Any idea

Hi,



well - not sure about 4.3, but IHMO you need

a) find the correct .lic file

(what about "ls -la /usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/*.lic" ?)

and register the license



OR

b) set the library to be "not shared"

do you need library sharing?



problem with b) is, that you cannot update library to be non-shared, you have to delete the library (path, drives, library itself) and re-define it again (library, lib_path, drives, drive_paths) as non-shared



this leads to losing the library inventory so you have to checkin the volumes again (scratch first, private second)
