I have a tsm client on a MAC the setup seems to be correct. The MAC box can backup to the server fine. The server will not communicate with the client though. I have a client node setup. I have a schedule with the node associated to the schedule. When the user from the MAC does a manual backup the TCP/IP name becomes a full name not just the client node name. On any other setups Windows, linux, aix only the client node name is there under TCP/IP name. One I know of no way to change it two I am not sure if I have something wrong on the MAC side (client) or server side (TSM). Any help in this matter would be great because I cannot link to the node. I have deleted file space and then removed the node registered a new node but as soon as we do a manual backup the full string name comes through. The TCP/IP address is correct but if you ping the full string name of that is not the right address since that is a different subnet. Thanks for any help
