Well here i go again. I hate being the noob(newbie) on this stuff but its the only way to learn.
this is the syntax i used
tsm: server_SERVER1>checkin libv LB4.0.0.2 archive search=no checklabel=yes s
tatus=private
now on the console i am getting a Insert DLT volume Archive R/W into the slot number 14 of LB4.0.0.2 with reply and the id
so i issued a reply 002 label=archive and then i get an I/O error me thinks something isnt set right with the sequential volume called archive
I am doing it by hand first so that I may understand the syntax before automating.
I am on Tivoli 4.2.0.0 (base) on windows 2000 server with a IBM 3447 SCSI Library 14 DLT TAPE IV (40G) tapes basically trying to assign B1000 through B1013 to my sequential volume called archive.
( i keep forgetting to give my darn evironment. )
