Hi,
I am using TSM5.3 and facing a strange problem.When a scratch tape is required in any pool it is not taken automatically.First I need to Define that scratch tape for that particular pool and then the tape goes to private Mode.I have enough scratch tapes count given at the time of defining that sequencial stg pool.
Also when I run the Full DB back up gets failed and send a message that "Scratch volume mount request denied - no scratch volume available" irrespective of so many available scratch tapes.Can any body suggest what is the problem.Thanks
