Save Group completion messages

Since upgrading from 7.0 to 7.4 the save group completion notification messages have changed dramatically, they are truncated at 1024 characters. We have part of our verification and logging program wrapped around the old format messages. It looks like something similar to the old format gets saved to /nsr/tmp/sec/sg/<SaveGroup>/xxxx but it is not quite the same. Has anyone put together a script to reformat all this to match the old format? I don''t really want to reinvent the wheel if someone already has done so. Thanks.

Truncated notifications

Hi,

this is a bug with 7.4 which limits the notification mail to 1024 characters. It has been fixed in 7.4.2 so you can either upgrade to 7.4 SP2 or else EMC has released patch which can be downloaded. You can check with the support and its available on EMC Powerlink as well.
