Restoring SQL 2000 to SQL 2008

TSM Server 5.5.4 + Windows 2003
Windows 2003 + SQL 2000 + TSM BA 5.5.0 + TSM SQL 5.5.2
Windows 2008R2 + SQL 2008 + TSM BA 6.2.0 + TSM SQL 5.5.4

Can we restore SQL 2000 to SQL 2008 ?

Hi, if you are talking about system databases (master, model, msdb), they cannot be restored to SQL 2008. See following article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191253.aspx

Same here. I need to restore a database from a 2000 instance to a 2008 instance. Please help, someone.
