We have been testing Backup Set restores the past couple of weeks, but have
had multiple versions of many files. Files date 3/31 were restored these files
were then overwritten by files dated 4/1 and then overwritten again with
files dated 4/2.
Is there a way to tell the backupset processes to ignore subsequent incremental
backups? That is, if a Backup Set process starts on Friday can it be instructed not to backup files over the weekend? The Backup Sets normally long Friday to saturday
or Sunday.
By the way there seems to be very limited information/commands
for Backup Sets.
