Restore OLD RMAN-Backupsets from Tape to External Hard Disk

Hi all,

We perform full database backup via RMAN with Tivoli Data Protection for Oracle TAPE.

We need to restore the 1 week OLD RMAN backup set from our daily production database backup to External Hard disk for Internal Testing.

Since the Database size is more than 900++ GB. We are planning to restore the RMAN backup sets to External Hard Disk to copy to another server to restore the database there.

Is there any command in TSM to copy the RMAN backup sets to External Hard disk??

From the q cont of the Tape we can see the files being backup to TAPE

tsm: TSM>q cont M00047L4

Is there any command in TSM to copy the RMAN backup sets to External Hard disk??

Just to be clear.
We backup an Oracle database via the TDP application, we generated a backupset from the TSM Server and we want to restore the backupset?

FYI:
Backupsets are only for the TSM B/A Client and not for TDP Client.
