TSM Setup: One blade server having virtual console (VMware ESX3)
The console having windows 2003 server. TSM version 5.4.3 installed in NAS box using iscsi initiator. Created 18 GB volume on NAS box and installed tsm server in that.
NAS Box Details: N3700
Tape Library TS3100 FC connected to NAS Box
TOC Volume size created: 11 GB
TSM DB size created: 3.5 GB
TSM Log volume created: 1 GB
Problem: while restoring a file from tape library (20 kb file) taking long time approximately 20-30 minutes, some times not restoring (restoring process going on).
Restoring through TSM Web Client.
Tacking backup from command prompt:
backup node nasnode1 /vol/userdata mode=full toc=yes
