restore in another location

Hi,

i would like to restore my data in another computer that where they have been saved.

My client is a W2K3 with TSM client 5.5.2
My server is a RHEL 5 with TSM server 5.5

Actually, when i tried to restore my data on a share folder, i've got the error message ANS2627W about NTFS rights attributs.
i found that is was a known issu for win client, when the path + filename exceeded 255 characters. It was supposed to be fix with the v5.5 of agent, but it seems not.
PS: i can restore data in a distant folder if the path to reach it is short enough

Could you confirm that there isn't any patch (i look for but don't find something that correct it), or if you have a method to get round this problem.

If it is possible for you, install TSM client on another machine, and then, you have different options to acomplish your goal. You can present your second machine to TSM server as first one, or similar.
