Reduction in size DB TSM

Actualmnete I have a database of 189 GB is possible to achieve somehow diminish or decrease the size of this.

To determine how much you can reduce the DB size, you have to run a command called "estimate dbreorgstats" while at the TSM prompt.

If the output is favorable - meaning you can reduce the DB by a considerable amount - you can reduce the database by using the UNLOADDDB, LOADDB command extensions of DSMSERV. See this link for details:

NOTE: read what the above commands do and be aware that the procedure of reorganizing your database requires that TSM be offline.
