Hi,

That was a new one.

Do you start up dsmadmc with any parameters?

What happens if you use english as language?

Do you get the same when issuing other commands like 'q pr' or 'q sess'

Hi Trident,
The "q actlog" command, either from the Command Builder or from the command line in the administrative client (dsmadmc) returns the same output.
In addition, in the details section of the "Alerts" tab it also truncates the lines.
I´ve already tried with "Displaymode = Auto" and with "Set SQLDISPlaymode wide" options and always returns truncated lines.
However, the output of "q sess" is usually in the usual table format.

Any idea?

Thank you...

Hi,

This probably will not work (a longshot) , but can you try a dsmadmc client that is the same level as your server?

And, my favorite, start dsmadmc -traceflag=service -tracefile=c:\temp\trace.txt
Type q actlog begint=-0:01 and kill the session

See if you can find anything there that looks weird.

Bug hunting is a lot of fun.

Hi,
Just to comment..., I solved it by changing Language en_US.utf8 in the dsmserv.opt and restarting the server.
Thanks for your time Trident.
