Problem deleting Volume history file

I am facing problem deleting TSMDB volume from volume history. In Q Libvol its showing 1 volume as TSMDB.

While I am trying to delete it by command "del volh type=dbb todate=-1" or "del volh type=dbb todate=10/17/08" its not deleting. I have given all the possible dates but nothing is happening. Currently my library is full and there is no tape for dbbackup..


Please assist.

If this is your only database backup, TSM WILL NOT delete it.

If it's not the only DBbackup you have, you should be able to delete it by adding "force=yes" to the end of your del volhist statement.
