Partial Restore - SYSTEM OBJECT

Hi,



On a Windows 2000 test system I am trying to restore some few System objects but I always get a ANS1062E error code: " Only a single image may be selected when a destination is entered."



It concerns the Certificate Database which I try to restore as simple files/objects. I have tried the following with out luck:



restore "{SYSTEM OBJECT}\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CertLog\testas.edb" c:\temp\

restore "{SYSTEM OBJECT}\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CertLog\testas.edb"

restore "{SYSTEM OBJECT}\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CertLog\*" c:\temp\

restore "{SYSTEM OBJECT}\WINNT\SYSTEM32\CertLog\*"



Is there a way around it, a flag or a option I can set, so it will restore the files?

I think you can redirect a SYSTEMOBJECT restore!



you to restore on its oridinal location ==> c:\adsm.sys, then you should be able to retrieve the file you wanted..
