Hi all
is there any posibility to manage tsm for restoring lan-free from copy stg pool in several threads?
example:
Oracle runs lan-free backup on 4 volumes. (write to 4 tape devices)
Next bussines day are these backups copied to the distanced second location.
Next day DBAs wanted to restore from copy location on servere that are in second location.
We tried to make volumes in primary location unavialable to force restore obtain data from second location.
But there is a problem. They try to allocate 4 chanels. And data ar sometime on 3 volumes sometime on 1 volume.
I know there is posible to switch on collocation on copy stg pool, but i am afraid this will not solve my problem.
