Hi,

This may not be a TSM issue, however need to check a verify
And maybe someone can just say .. No way is it TSM .. and maybe something other hidden process

IBM Spectrum Protect 8.1.9
Window Server 2012 R2 Standard

Issue: I have an Old E:\ Drive that keep growing ( slowly ) however getting closer to full
However: I see NO new files or recent Time Stamps on the BFS files .. Since 01/2022
Even looked for hidden files
The E:\ drive was used and still get's accessed at times with users pulling older reports
The ACTLOG is not there

My only guess is not having knowledge of the BFS files activity ?
Such as if last one on drive was created in 01/2022 and show the size of 10gig
Is it just showing that size in Windows Explorer but not taking the space until files a placed in it ?
Then timestamp not updated either

Here is my Old and New Device configuration ( and meaning new sometime 01/2022 )
Thanks and any thoughts would be helpfull

The Spectrum Protect TLA (Three-Letter Acronym): ISP or something else?

  • Every product needs a TLA, Let's call it ISP (IBM Spectrum Protect).
