Searching the Novell TSM client manual, I did not find anything for tracing. So I'm guessing I can't do that with netware.

Hi,
the problem with clib should be fine is you use SP7 as liam said. (netware says this here http://www.novell.com/support/php/s...DT_TID_1_1&dialogID=952188&stateId=1 0 946853)
it would not hurt to check tha tyou have the correct clibs

they should be on your system as you have SP7 but I would check it anyway

do I understand well that the problem is caused by sys volume only? if you would backup only GRPWISE volume the performance would be acceptable and the slowness is only relate to the sys volume backup?
