Not able to update tdp password and backups fail

not able to update password on client (Win NT). Verified and changed password on tsm server, client not locked as well. But when i try to update the password on client side getting the above error and not able to take manual backup or scheduled backups. Pls advise. TIA
 
Have You tried to reset the password on the server side, and log in to TDPSQL?
 
Yes able to reset password on server side, while updating the pwd on client side getting above error.
 
Hi
try to delete registry hive with encripted password for TDP node and retry to update it.
