ORA-27030: skgfwrt: sbtwrite2 returned error
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
ANS0326E (RC41) This node has exceeded its maximum number of mount points.

That is false. There are more than enough mount points. All drives are available at the IBMtape driver level. This particular Oracle DB server has many DBs. Now every one of those DBs that backup LAN-Free are having these errors. I have moved the backups to the secondary server in the RAC cluster and it works fine.

Any reason why it would give this error when there are more than enough drives available, and all have their paths online, etc.

It's not this:

I have more mount points defined per node than RMAN channels being requested.
