NewBie question

I have Networker 7.4. On NetworkerAdministrator-Device-Library ADIC scalar 24 then library Properties - Configuration - Media Management - Auto Media Management status is clicked. Help file for this tells: "
Auto media management - Enabling this attribute allows automated media management for volumes in the jukebox,
which includes automatic labeling of 'blank' volumes. Any volume without a NetWorker label is considered to be blank."

Now on NetworkerAdministrator-Device-Device I have the following :

Now on properties of any device selected - General-Status Auto Media Management is NOT clicked? The help file says: "Auto media management - Enabling this attribute allows automated media management for volumes loaded into the device. ...For jukebox devices the value of this attribute is
inherited from the Jukebox resource."

Well, I do have parent jokebox, but I still have an option to click Auto media management on or off for each device? Am I missing something?

Th e second question is: It is confusing at storage node I have at Device-Storage Node - Properties-General-Device Management - Device sharing mode which tells:

"Device sharing mode - Device sharing mode at the storage node level; device sharing mode set at this level will overrride sharing mode setting at the server level." In fact where is setting at a server level? Is this in some connection with dedicated storage nodes?
