Hi

I have UNIX directives with compression enabled across all hosts.

On some large filesystems where DBA's dump DB's & gzip them I think the compression directive is counter productive & want to add a .nsr to them to not compress these filesys's/dirs.

I want to retain global compression over the rest though. Anyone help me out with this ?

Thanks
Nick

A very good question. Usually, directives are used to switch on an ASM but it is stated nowhere how to switch it off.

You may try "+uasm: . " on this directory. Please let us know whether this will work.
