NDMP TSM 5.2

I have a few questions regarding NDMP with TSM 5.2 :



Can you run 'backup stg' on the NASPOOL? (I think the answer is no because the data format is different, does someone know a way around this?)



Can reclamation be run on NASPOOL?



I'm hoping there is some way to make backup copies of NDMP for DRM purposes.

This is a RTFM. From the TSM for AIX Admin Guide v5.2 :



You cannot back up a storage pool that is used for NDMP backups.



The following DEFINE STGPOOL and UPDATE STGPOOL parameters are ignored

because storage pool hierarchies, reclamation, and migration are not supported for

these storage pools:

MAXSIZE

NEXTSTGPOOL

LOWMIG

HIGHMIG

MIGDELAY

MIGCONTINUE

RECLAIMSTGPOOL

OVFLOLOCATION
