Hi guys,
I have another customer issue on the way:
Customer has a 60 TB Netapp box, mirrored to another location (partly synchronous, partly asynchronous).
The customer wants a desaster location, about 10km away from the other two locations. He probably needs dark fibre for that.
What is your experience with backup of Netapp?
Would you recommend NDMP backup? With TSM? I'm worried about backup, but especially restore performance ....
Or is anybody of you familiar with backup solutions of Netapp? I heard of Snapvault and Nearstore VTL.
