Moving tapes out of the library

Hi guys,

I would like to draw a plan to move some nodes' data out of the library.
The data includes backups and archives of retired nodes.
I have looked around and IBM only seem to document moving storage pool (udpate with ovflolcation) out but not moving specific nodes.
Here's my plan, please tell if that would work

1. Define an overflow storage pool
2. Define a collocation group
3. Define collocation member where i will add only the nodes for which i wish to move the data out to the overflow location
4. Move nodedata collocg=my_collocgroup from=tape_backup to=my_overflow_stg
5. Move nodedata collocg=my_collocgroup from=tape_archive to=my_overflow_stg

Then when a restore is needed, checkin the volumes as private

Does that sound right?
Also, if a restored is needed, how do i rem them to bulk again once restore is done?

Sounds right - if I recall right, there are some post on this forum saying something similar to your plan.
