Hi everyone,
Just a quick question before I go digging through the manuals to find the answer:

Is it possible to create a TSM for VE datamover / config on a virtual machine and then later move to a physical server, retaining all information?

If it's not a quick easy thing, I'll hit the manual and maybe contact support, but open to ideas or experiences from here first :)

Yes. Datamover node is storing data on behalf of DATACENTER node or VM node. You can even use multiple DATAMOVER nodes to backup under one DATACENTER (VM) node, just grant proxyauthority correctly.

Thanks Smajl - I should have worded different.

Is it possible to move the DATACENTER (VM) node after it's been in use for a while?
What impact will there be if I recreate the DATACENTER node?

The datamover nodes and volume mount nodes, no problem to move like you said.
