Move or Restore? Backupsets from one TSM server to another TSM Server

Hi All

Is there a way to move or Restore (I'm not sure which operation to use) Backupsets from TSMSERVER A to TSMSERVER B.

Sorry, If a restore command should be used I will place this thread under the restore thread list.

Hi,
No, you can not export backupset from one TSM server to another.

Are they in tape media or files (FILE device class)?
Remember that you can restore backupsets directly from your BA clients if they can read the media.
TSM server just maintain a track of them and expires the volumes.

*Restore from TSM server is possible as well.

What about the "define backupset" command, this is probably what you want to use.

Use it to define the backupset on server B, and checkout/checkin your tape to server B.
