Hi Pro's,

I want to move node data from a virtualfilespace to Another virtualfilespace in the same stgpool. The filespaces have TOC files where all index exists for the backups that been made.
I had a look at the "help move nodedata" command but I can't get how this will work.
Is this possible?

ex.
I want to move from:
Virtualfilespace /myfiler_vol1

to:
virtualfilespace /L_myfiler_vol1

Can I do this with "move nodedata" command or with someother command?

/C

You cannot do that. The move nodedate command is to move the data for a given node to different storage volumes either in a the same or different storage pool.

You'd need to do a new backup to the new virtual filespace to get the data there.

ok... then I know... Thanks.
To move the data from the "old" filespace I assume I have to restore all the data and then backup the data once again to the "new" filespace?

OR...
...is there anyway I can change the virtualfs name with some "super" command :)
I know I can change the filespace name and the path, but it would be really neat to be able to change the virtualfs name...
